1Where

Where is it? Your home address, your hometown, a college, or the spot you love.

A full address pins the house and centres the map on it. A town name gives you the whole town. Add the state if the name is common (there are 30-odd Springfields). More places go in Mark it, below.

2Mark it

Add as many places as you like: home, the school, the park, where you met. Each pin gets a small picture and a caption printed on the map, and the map grows to fit them all. Places too far apart for one map each get their own tile. The poster's own title goes in Words, not here.

Landmarks the map adds itself

How many

Normally the poster picks the best-known places itself. "Show me the list" fetches them now so you can uncheck, rename, or change the picture, or center the map on one.

Where the map is centered

The coordinates on the poster follow the map center. "Center map here" on any pin or landmark does the same thing.

3Words

The words printed on the poster. Filled in from the place you picked — change any of them.

Title

Subtitle

Big word, then the smaller line under it. Filled in from the place you picked. Change it to anything you like. The coordinates are printed after the smaller line — untick “Print the coordinates” below to leave them off.

More words (all optional)

Print the coordinatesA small line like 32.0809° N · 81.0912° W under the title. A year (optional)

Wording

Prints after the coordinates, e.g. · EST. 1733. "EST." reads as the town's founding year, so pick "SINCE" for a personal date. Writing the whole phrase here — SINCE 2019 — works too: the wording moves to the dropdown and the year stays in the box. Leave blank to skip.

A family name or a date

Doesn't show in the quick preview — it prints with the title on the finished poster, nothing is lost.
